To customize' options in the game.Promotion and Relegation system was a great step but it needs more details fleshed out.Most of them would help also in standard games in leagues with promotion/relegation1) there should be a relegation clause option in contracts to avoid top players get stuck in lower league teams for many years2) relegated teams should have happiness problems with players that came down 3) adjustment of finances for relegated teams should be more dynamicteams from bigger markets should go all in to get promoted in year one or two - but after then they tend to get more down to the level of the rest of leagues teams.Promoted teams from big markets should be more agressive in case of budgets.4) option to get a new farm team if your team got relegated to league level of your current farm team (could lead to strange setup in standard games if your farm team got promoted and you got relegated)Be aware that league ratings, that are to close together or equal, will lead to strange player signings because there is no team reputation or something like this.
